Revision Topics: Final Exam

As you all know, we have approached the end of our academic year. Below you will find the topics that will be included in the English and Social Studies Final Exam.

Please note that these are only the topics or guidelines. The lessons are all written down in their copybooks. Furthermore, I will be handing them practice sheets throughout next week.

1) English

a) Vocabulary words from: 

-The Gruffalo

- Mighty Jackie 

- Because Of Winn Dixie 

- The Boy Who Cried Wolf 

-The Goose And The Golden Eggs 

A list of these vocabulary words  will be handed out of to the students again and posted on the blog.

b) Writing: 

- How to write a dialogue.

-Capitalizing.

-Writing a paragraph.

Students have these lessons in their copybook, however I will distribute more practice sheets.

c) Reading : 

- Short reading comprehension paragraphs with multiple choice questions will be presented to the students in the exam; therefore, they are not based on our previous readings. They mostly focus on critical thinking which resembles passages in Readtheory. So make sure, you log in to Readtheory and continue READING AND SOLVING. 

2) Social Studies 

a) The Seven  Continents (map and information  are in the copybook)

b) Famous Landmarks (You will find the lesson on the blog)

c)  Famous People in History ( Lesson in copybook AND on the blog)
